Scott Murphy
After graduation from Illinois Wesleyan University Scott returned to the family farm. There he expanded their influence in the seed corn industry. During the 1990’s Scott operated two seed dryers as well as coordinated the detassling crews and sub contractors. As the 90’s ended and the seed acres shifted to irrigated ground Scott shifted their efforts towards the used seed equipment market. With the purchase of the Lexington facility and the phasing out of much of the farming operation, Scott has entered the equipment market full time.
In his spare time Scott is a pilot and a divemaster SCUBA diver. He also enjoys downhill skiing, riding his Harley, and competing in triathlons.
